Aventurine

Medium green iridescence caused by fuchsite (green mica) inclusions.  aventurine has been use in traditional cultures to promote leadership abilities.

Azurite/Malachite

This azurite is a bright blue, more electric than lapis lazuli swirled through rich, green malachite.  Azurite-Malachite has been used to promote flexibility in thought and action.

Baltic Amber

Amber is fossilized tree resin over 50 million years old.  Made from small pieces of genuine Baltic amber, pressed together in a glowing, golden resin,  Amber has been used to renew wedding vows, to seal oaths, and to protect warriors.

Black Onyx

Cut from natural black onyx rough, most of this material is dyed to assure uniform blackness.  Extremely well-cut and polished.  Onyx has traditionally been use to banish grief and enhance self-control.

Blue Lace  Agate

Pale blue overall, distinctly banded with light blue and white.  Blue lace agate has been used to enhance grace and lightheartedness.   

Carnelian

Most carnelian originates as dull brown agate.  When skillfully heat-treated, it becomes a bright, burnt-orange.  Carnelian was used in Roman times to protect against envy, fear, and rage.

Charoite

Charoite is a natural, deep purple opaque stone interspersed with quartz and manganese.  Found in eastern Siberia, charoite is used in modern times as a symbol of universal brotherhood.

 Chrysoprase,

 Lemon Yellow

A bright lemon-yellow stone, chrysoprase was used in medieval times to promote presence of mind.

Dalmatian Jasper

This jasper is a tawny-colored stone with black spots.  Shamans often wore jasper to provide protection.

Hematite

Mirror-like metallic black - almost gun-metal black - finish is extremely uniform.  

Howlite

Ivory white background with a spider web pattern of fine black lines, howlite has traditionally been used to enhance memory.     

Lapis Lazuli,

This lapis lazuli is the color of blue jeans.  In the bible, the ancient Hebrews used lapis lazuli in the breastplate of Aaron, the high priest.

Leopardskin

Jasper

This stone has a unique golden-tawny background with a slight touch of brown.

Malachite

Light greens and dark greens finely banded together in straight, swirl and concentric patterns.  

Mahogany

Obsidian

This variety of volcanic glass has a black background with brownish-red patterns, resembling the grain of mahogany hardwoods. To the ancient Aztecs, obsidian was the warrior's stone

Red Jasper

Red Jasper red brick color has been used as a stone of protection for thousands of years.    

Rose Quartz

Translucent pick with lineal opaque pink patterns.  Rose quartz has traditionally been used to heal broken hearts.

Snowflake Obsidian

This variety of volcanic glass is black with white inclusions of radial (sperulitic) structure.   

Tigereye

Tigereye has alternating bands of golden-yellow and golden-brown, cut parallel to its fibrous structure to maximize the chatoyancy effect.

Turquoise

Natural turquoise, polished with resin to protect the stone.
